South East Kent Astronomical Society

This year our Canterbury POS has moved from Blean to the Star Centre @ the Simon Langdon School for Boys. these sessions are all weather events, as when the weather is bad there will be talks and movies the Star Centre, as well as hot drinks.

The Walmer sessions are obviously weather-dependant. If the sky is more than 2/3 clouded, then the session will very probably not go ahead, SEKAS reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or change the location of any Public Observing session without notice or reason.

Members of the public are advised to wrap up well for a couple of hours of standing outside, and to take note of any safety advice given at these meetings regarding moving around the sites at night.

Attendance at these sites is wholly at your own risk. No responsibility for loss or damage to persons or property is implied or accepted by SEKAS, its committee or the membership thereof at these meetings.

Please drive slowly and carefully at these sites.

All are welcome, but we ask that children under 16 be accompanied by a responsible

adult.
