Tonight, Saturn will be at opposition, meaning it will opposite the Sun in the sky, making it about the best time to image and observe it, though this year, it will not climb that high into the sky. It will appear 18.4 arc seconds in diameter, which although still relatively small compared to Jupiter at opposition, still allows us to more easily see the detail of the divisions in the rings and image with more ease.
