Come and join SEKAS at the Western Heights Dover on Sunday 21st May where we will be showing the public the wonders of our nearest star – the Sun.
We will have a selection of telescopes which are specially modified to look at the Sun in safety. You must never look directly at the Sun through any optical aid which is not specifiacally designed to do so.
Our scopes will have filters fitted which allow us to look at the Sun in ‘white light’, and hydrogen alpha (all the firey stuff) !
Come along and say hello, and have a look through a scope, have a chat, ask us questions you may have, or even join our society.
